Chris Sununu hasn’t produced any evidence of the busloads of illegal voters he claimed were shipped into New Hampshire during the 2016 election, but he has found busloads of campaign cash from two New Hampshire bus companies.
Chris Sununu has also been a consistent opponent of commuter rail, which could be a competitor to the buses for those commuting to Boston and New York for work. He briefly supported a rail study during his failed attempt to bring Amazon to New Hampshire to build into second Headquarters (a desperation move after his “100 Businesses in 100 Days” tour produced little in the way of verifiable outreach to businesses and coaxed less than a handful of small entities to the state.
After Amazon rejected Sununu’s pitch, he gave legislative leadership a green light to remove funding for a commuter rail study from the state’s transportation plan. So, buses, it look like Chris Sununu is still on board with you.
